Description

In this role you will expand WTW’s Health & Benefits (H&B) presence in the Pacific and build on recent success in growing our market share whilst maintaining a portfolio of existing clients. The role requires an experienced Sales Professional who is familiar with the New Zealand H&B market, has the desire to be inquisitive, has extensive experience in Group Risk Insurance and/or Private Health Insurance and sell the wider WTW proposition.

The Role

  • Develop and execute a combined H&B/CRB sales plan in NZ that will meet or exceed new business targets.
  • Provide service and support to WTW colleagues across the business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, prospoects and other key stakeholders, professionally representing WTW.
  • Develop internal relationships with General Insurance Brokers in the NZ offices with a view to offering the full suite of services to potential clients via RFP’s. 
  • Develop internal relationships with the NZ Leadership Team; and other members of the WTW team; the wider Pacific Team across all lines of business
     

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Industry related qualifications (Level 5) and a relevant business degree are desirable.
  • Proficient in sales, driving sales initiatives and identifying and closing out opportunities.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a small H&B Sales team, and across the wider WTW business.
  • Knowledge of a successful sales process is critical, as well as Group Risk and Group Medical would be highly regarded.
  • Proven sales and service experience.
  • A strong network and understanding of the NZ financial/benefits market
  • We need a self starter, a door-opener, a sales guru, a charismatic leader to drive the growth of the NZ business
