In this role, you will help manage and enhance security change approval processes, coordinate Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) recommendations across Cyber Defence and business teams, and improve visibility of security activities across the organisation. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting multiple request types while ensuring strong communication, timely follow‑through, and effective coordination across global, geographically dispersed teams. A foundational understanding of cybersecurity is important, along with familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, web and email filtering, and supporting protocols like DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, and SMTP. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to strengthening cyber awareness and security excellence within the organisation.
The Role:

- Assess and progress technical changes to security services. Prior experience with security solutions (firewalling, web and email filtering, and similar), associated risks (phishing, malware, compromised services), and an understanding of supporting technologies (DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, SMTP) would be advantageous.
- Drive continuous improvements within the Security Change Management process, leveraging ServiceNow and cross-team automation, while ensuring all process documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Track and support actions arising from Cyber Threat Intelligence recommendations, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and providing regular status updates to leadership.
- Participate in recurring meetings and engagement sessions to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and effective communication across teams.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Technical/Security based qualification or 1 years’ experience within a Technical/Cyber Security environment (GSOC)
- Prior experience with security solutions (firewalling, web and email filtering, and similar) and an understanding of supporting technologies (DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP, SMTP) would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding the functions of a Cyber Security Defence Team
- Effective organizational skills, detail-orientated, with a track record in Quality Assurance and Task Management
Personal Attributes
- Team player with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to centrally track and maintain varying actions allowing for status reporting and visibility to leadership, ensuring timelines are met and early indicators of risk are easily identified
- Ability to cultivate a positive, security-aware culture within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to develop knowledge specifically focusing on Cyber Security tools and technologies.
