Description

Reporting to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, Risk & Broking, the role will work closely with the geography leaders within WTW’s Risk & Broking segment on the identification and execution of M&A opportunities.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term Contract position.

The Role

•    Evaluate feasibility and timing of current M&A pipeline across geographies
•    Work with geography leaders within the Risk & Broking segment on identifying pipeline opportunities and work with finance on a roadmap and portfolio plan
•    Partner with in-country business, operations, and finance leaders on identifying portfolio optimization opportunities, modeling business cases, and coordinating the review and approval process with internal and external stakeholders
•    Co-ordinate with stakeholders on various tasks via conference calls / emails. Travel as needed to work directly with the businesses in scope (if and as needed)
•    Ensure timely completion of tasks with accuracy of the data as per business needs
•    Identify gaps in the processes and highlight it to the Stakeholders / Line Manager. Provide ideas and suggestions to improve processes and support the documentation of new procedures
•    Support internal and board governance processes and reporting requirements
•    Additional responsibilities/support as required by the business / Line Manager

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

•    Solid experience in M&A leadership functions with a proven track record of deal success
•    Strong understanding of financials and deal valuation; preferably in the insurance broking industry
•    Ability to chair meetings for attendees of all levels of seniority
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
•    Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks simultaneously
•    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
•    Strong attention to detail 
•    Innovative approach to problem solving
•    Project Management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects including the risks and uncertainty
•    Strong business change experience and business acumen
