Summary  

The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) is an internal service centre that provides high quality and efficient international benefits business support on both a global and local level. Work performed within the centre includes global benefits database management, and claims utilisation reports generation.  

As an Analyst within the GDC, you will contribute as part of a team involved in several activities to support our international benefits offerings. 

The Role 

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have excellent data entry, manipulation skills, and report generation skills.  Also, exposure or background in the benefits brokerage / insurance administration work is required. The position would also require project management skills.

Key Activities 

Data Management and Reporting Activities 

Data Entry Activities 
•    Administrative onboarding of new clients.
•    Perform data validation and processing work using agreed upon tools, standards, and techniques.
•    Support the production of benefits plan design and reporting publications.
•    Process, project, and transaction management.
•    Support claims utilisation reporting activities.
•    Collect, validate, and clean benefits enrolment, and eligibility data.
•    Assist with enrolment processes and ensure beneficiary data is updated.
•    Monthly reconciliation of commissions and perform commission estimates.
•    Support benefit audit processes.
•    Support interactions between clients, WTW and insurance vendors.

•    Perform data entry and validation, processing work using agreed upon tools, standards, and techniques, including self-checking work and following review processes.

•    Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.

•    Meet productivity goals.  
•    Monitor project progress, developing solutions for overcoming obstacles. 
•    Maintaining accurate time records.
 

Qualifications

The Requirements 


•    Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on mathematics or business. 
•    2-5 years’ work experience either in an insurance company or an outsourcing company doing life and/or health insurance operations processes (e.g. policy administration, renewals, claims, enrolment).
•    Previous benefits or insurance or claims experience is a plus.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
•    Experience with data entry, validation, and manipulation (advanced Excel skills are essential).
•    Ability to review and check data against subject domain knowledge (e.g., health and group benefits) and understand the data’s applicability/accuracy for the designated purpose.  
•    Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate. 
•    Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it.
•    Collaboration with a global team, include taking accountability for quality and on-time delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriate.
•    Structured problem solving and analytical thinking.  
•    Continuous improvement mindset – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service repetition.  
•    Strong client service orientation.
•    Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills.
•    Proficiency in English required, good written and communication skills. 
•    Amenable to work in mid-shift hours.
