In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading new business opportunities for Via Benefits Active (ICHRA) business. You will target employer prospects by leveraging internal and external networks, market data, and thought leadership to position Via Benefits as the premier partner for organizations seeking to implement ICHRA solutions. You will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the market and work closely with internal teams to deliver on growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a member of and partner with Via Benefits' Active leadership team to expand ICHRA market growth by sharing pipeline, prospect needs, suggested platform enhancements, targeted products, and geography expansion. 
  • Identify, target, and develop new ICHRA opportunities with prospects as well as existing clients of WTW’s Health, Wealth, and Career businesses by partnering with lead relationship managers to promote ICHRA opportunities to their clients. 
  • Partner with Via Benefits Growth Leader and sales team as a strategic consultant for ICHRA sales
  • Leverage Via Benefits data analytics to identify high-potential industries, geographies, and organizations most likely to benefit from an ICHRA strategy.
  • Establish and maintain a trusted strategic advisor role with employer prospects, external advisors, and benefits consultants, influencing employer health benefits strategy.
  • Lead and execute the sales process from initial engagement to signed agreement
  • Support RFP activity and coordinate with solution teams to craft winning proposals and presentations.
  • Coordinate contracting and the smooth handoff of new clients to the Via Benefits implementation team; serve as an advisor during onboarding to ensure a successful client launch.
  • Communicate ICHRA pipeline progress to Via Benefits Carrier Relations team to encourage robust carrier participation on the platform.
  • Maintain accurate and timely pipeline data in Dynamics for deal tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to refine sales collateral and messaging that effectively articulates WTW’s and Via Benefits’ value proposition.
  • Be an active participant in the Via Benefits sales community, contributing to team strategy, growth planning, and best practice sharing.
  • Continually deepen expertise in ICHRA market dynamics, plan design, funding, compliance, and account-based benefits solutions to support consultative selling.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in benefits or health solutions sales, with proven success in developing new business and closing complex deals as an individual contributor.
  • Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored health plans
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a prospect pipeline, with experience driving new business in a consultative, complex sales environment.
  • Established network and credibility with benefits advisors, consultants, and employer decision-makers.
  • Executive presence with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working across multiple business lines and senior stakeholders.
  • Embraces change and can navigate a dynamic, evolving market environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently based on market demands.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, advanced degree a plus.
