Our Health and Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control soaring health and welfare plan costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions.  We provide solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, legal compliance and governance strategies. We also provide Specialty consulting services including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions, disability/absence management strategies and claims audit services. 

 

The Role

The Senior Associate is responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes in complex assignments by leveraging strong technical expertise and effective coordination across teams. This role acts as a key point of reference within the organization, ensuring consistent execution standards while managing client relationships and overseeing service delivery in demanding and multi-stakeholder environments. Additionally, the Senior Associate supports team performance through supervision, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

The role also involves contributing to the structuring and placement of complex solutions, as well as leading discussions and negotiations in critical post-service processes. The Senior Associate plays an active part in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, supporting commercial objectives, and strengthening client engagement through a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

By applying deep market knowledge and industry insights, the Senior Associate contributes to strategic thinking and the continuous enhancement of services. This includes leveraging cross-sector knowledge to improve offerings, drive innovation, and ensure the organization remains competitive and responsive to client needs.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • University degree

  • 8+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in the design/management of increasingly complex health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment or similar experience in a consultative role gained at a carrier or vendor

  • In-depth knowledge of the health and life insurance market

  • Ability to expand relationships with current clients

  • Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills

  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues

  • Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
