Overview of the role:

The role-holder will lead and contribute to HR consulting assignments, focusing on strategic HR advisory and implementation. This role demands a blend of consulting expertise, client management skills, and revenue generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities, pitch solutions, and close deals to meet or exceed the ₹4 Cr annual revenue target. Build and nurture client relationships in key sectors.
  • Project Leadership & Delivery:
    • Lead end-to-end projects in Workforce and Organization Transformation, including organization design/structuring, HR transformation, workforce planning, job evaluation, work redesign, flexible working models, and re/upskilling initiatives.
    • Drive Talent Management engagements, such as developing competency frameworks, career architectures, assessments/development centers, leadership coaching, and performance management systems.
    • Enhance Employee Experience through culture assessments and change, strengthening Employer Value Proposition (EVP), employee listening strategies and working on org. DNA (vision, mission, purpose, culture, etc.).
    • Manage M&A HR Services, covering HR due diligence, integration planning (do-by-close and Day 1 readiness), post-deal integration (structures, grades, rewards, policies, processes), project management, communication, and change management.
    • Oversee Rewards advisory projects for clients including market pricing, compensation/benefit audits, compensation structuring, incentive design, and customized industry surveys.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to understand evolving business priorities, talent challenges, and talent expectations. Advise clients with right solutions and provide insights aligned with market best practices to address their challenges
  • Team Collaboration: Manage 1-2 consultants on projects, mentor junior consultants, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop whitepapers, case studies, and participate in industry forums to enhance firm visibility.

Qualifications

The Requirement: 

  • Post Graduate Degree or MBA from a top-tier business school
  • 7-10 years of HR experience; prior HR Consulting experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record in handling assignments in the specified areas (Workforce Transformation, Talent Management, Employee Experience, M&A or Rewards) is expected.
  • Strong consulting acumen with experience in multi-country or multi-solution projects 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making (e.g., using Excel, HR analytics tools).
  • Ability to travel as needed (15-25%).
