Description
The Sr. Director, FP&A Transformation & AI Enablement is a senior finance leader responsible for designing and embedding a modern, AI‑enabled FP&A operating model and processes across planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support. Reporting to the Head of Global Finance Analytics (GFA), this role serves as the FP&A AI strategy owner, translating manual intensive financial reporting and analysis activities into practical, scalable capabilities and solutions that improve insight quality, speed of decision‑making, and forecast accuracy. The role operates at the intersection of Business Finance, Enterprise FP&A, Analytics, and Technology, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on delivery, adoption, and change. This leader moves FP&A from periodic reporting to continuous, forward‑looking insight, leveraging Copilot, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation embedded directly into day‑to‑day FP&A workflows.
The Role
FP&A AI Strategy & Operating Model
Own the AI strategy for FP&A, defining the roadmap, priorities, and value targets across planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support
Design and continuously evolve the FP&A operating model, ensuring AI‑enabled insights are embedded into standard processes rather than delivered as standalone tools
Partner with Business Finance leaders to align AI / Analytics use cases to real end-user needs for Business Finance and Business leaders, not technology experimentation
Hands‑On AI & Analytics Enablement
Lead the hands‑on design, build, and deployment of AI‑enabled FP&A solutions, including Copilot‑driven / agent-based workflows, predictive analytics, scenario modeling, and intelligent automation embedded into core FP&A processes
Ensure AI solutions are explainable, trusted, and finance‑grade, with appropriate controls and governance
Shift FP&A effort from manual analysis and reporting toward broad-based adoption of AI solutions by Finance and Business leaders to accelerate insight generation and decision support
Enterprise Integration & Standardization
Serve as the primary FP&A interface between Business Finance, Enterprise FP&A, GFA capability centers, Technology, and Data teams
Harmonize FP&A processes and analytics standards across Business Finance and Enterprise FP&A to reduce fragmentation and duplication
Ensure consistency and comparability of FP&A metrics, assumptions, and outputs across businesses to enable enterprise‑wide performance views and decision‑making
Decision‑Grade Data & Insight Enablement
Partner with upstream data domain owners and Technology to connect FP&A data end‑to‑end, improving data quality and consistency to enable a cohesive narrative around business performance and key drivers
Ensure FP&A analytics and AI solutions are powered by consistent, governed data aligned to financial and operational realities
Act as the voice of FP&A in shaping analytics capabilities, without owning underlying data platforms or pipelines
Change Leadership & Adoption
Act as a visible change leader, challenging legacy processes and accelerating adoption through hands‑on delivery
Build trust in AI‑enabled insights by demonstrating accuracy, transparency, and business relevance
Upskill FP&A teams in modern analytics and AI‑augmented ways of working
