Description
The successful candidate will have proven experience of retaining, growing and managing a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention and new business development. They will manage and develop client relationships and grow the portfolio being responsible for the targeting and converting of prospects.
The Role
Actively contribute to the sales process by identifying key prospects, building new relationships and working existing established business relationships to win and develop profitable clients
Execute sales goals by maintaining a sizeable book of business and conducting frequent sales presentations, calls and meetings.
Apply highly developed market and service offering insights to engage potential clients and generate interest through scheduled meetings and/or presentations.
Provide support and input into existing sales strategies and key WTW and SCR differentiators.
Support sales proposals, presentations and RFP responses which creatively and effectively address complex prospect needs.
Contribute actively to product development
Build, develop and maintain close working relationships with Crisis Management Special Crime clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service is provided and constantly looking to identify ways to add further value to our service proposition and generate cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
A knowledge of the Crisis Management insurance landscape and credibility with clients and insurers.
Extensive experience in the Crisis Management insurance space, with technical, industry and subject matter expertise in the field of sports, entertainment, and event cancellation.
Extensive knowledge of the global Crisis Management (Re)Insurance market.
Proven track record in sales and converting new business opportunities. Experience in the insurance sector is a must.
Knowledge of Special Crime products is essential.
Self-motivated and target driven with a proven ability to work closely as part of a team.
Desire to learn and be involved in bespoke lines of business that may initially be unfamiliar.
Ability to operate at every stage from conducting a positive initial prospect meeting to crafting and delivering a compelling and successful proposal and presentation.
Excellent proven client relationship skills
Excellent communication (written & oral), negotiation and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, organised and able to prioritise workload against competing demands
Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation, problem solving, and decision-making skills are crucial
