Description
This role is responsible for the management, development, and placement of cyber insurance programmes for a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality service, strong retention, and effective risk transfer solutions. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will guide clients through an evolving cyber risk landscape, providing insight on market conditions, coverage structures, and emerging threats.
You will lead cyber placements and negotiations with insurers, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and maintain strong relationships across the cyber insurance market. Working collaboratively with senior colleagues, the role also supports new business growth and cross-selling opportunities, contributing to the continued expansion of WTW’s cyber capability.
The Role
Client Management
Manage and develop a portfolio of cyber insurance clients, ensuring high levels of service and retention.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on emerging cyber risks and market trends.
Placement & Negotiation
Structure and negotiate cyber insurance programmes with insurers to secure optimal terms for clients.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards throughout the placement process.
Business Development
Support new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and collaboration with senior colleagues.
Identify cross-selling opportunities within WTW’s broader risk and insurance solutions.
Market Engagement
Maintain strong relationships with key insurers and underwriters in the cyber insurance market.
Stay informed on market developments, pricing trends, and regulatory changes impacting cyber risk.
Qualifications
The Requirements
Proven experience in cyber insurance or technology risk within a broking or underwriting environment.
All-Inclusive negotiation and placement skills with a track record of delivering client-focused solutions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
