The Business
The Market and Client Insights (MCI) team partners with stakeholders across WTW to deliver actionable, decision‑ready intelligence that supports growth, strategy and client engagement, increasingly leveraging AI and automation. Our mission is to provide research and insights regarding markets, clients, prospects, industries and competitors to drive revenue growth through more effective sales, marketing and innovation.
The Role
This role acts as the bridge between MCI’s business priorities and emerging technology capabilities. The role translates stakeholder needs into AI-enabled insight solutions, defines practical use cases, evaluates tools, designs workflows, partners with technical and business teams, and ensures solutions are adopted, maintained and continuously improved.
Strategic Leadership & Project Management
Lead the delivery of complex insight and research projects, transforming diverse data sources into actionable business intelligence.
Partner across MCI and stakeholders to define and execute research priorities aligned to business objectives.
Manage multiple high-impact initiatives, ensuring clear priorities, milestones and successful outcomes.
AI, Automation & Innovation
- Harness AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve research efficiency, scalability and impact.
- Identify opportunities to modernize workflows, reduce manual effort and enhance insight delivery.
- Champion innovation by embedding new tools, methods and best practices across MCI.
Research Excellence & Insight Generation
- Leverage advanced research platforms, data sources and analytical techniques to uncover strategic insights.
- Synthesize complex information and data into clear, compelling recommendations for decision-makers.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and timeliness across all deliverables.
- Apply advanced analytics, visualization and reporting techniques to enhance insight generation and storytelling.
Leadership & Capability Development
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering research excellence, innovation and continuous learning.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing team culture across locations and functions.
- Provide guidance and quality oversight to ensure consistent delivery standards.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline; exposure to marketing, statistics, economics, operations research, finance, analytics, technology or a related field preferred.
- Advanced English required. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience in a senior research role, utilizing a wide range of advanced research tools, techniques, and data sources.
- Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- We would value candidates with experience in business research, who have worked in in-house teams, Captive/KPO firms, or third-party research agencies serving multiple clients in the B2B sector. Additionally, knowledge of the Insurance Industry and its dynamics, as well as familiarity with sectors such as Oil and Gas, Construction, Aerospace, Marine, and segments like Talents & Rewards, Human Capital Benefits, and Risk & Broking, would be considered advantages.
