Description

WTW is creating a new Mid-Market Absence, Disability Management and Life Insurance (ADML) practice focused on delivering scalable, high-impact solutions to clients in the 500 to 5,000 life segment. This role is the founding leader of that effort.

As the Mid-Market ADML Practice Leader, you will design, launch, and scale a differentiated delivery model for mid-market clients. You will build the team, define processes and workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality client outcomes.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, comfort operating in ambiguity, and a strong track record of building and scaling advisory capabilities within a complex organization.

The Role 

  • Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to mid-market, complex clients in the design and management of ADML programs, including benefit plan analysis, vendor procurement, audits, and paid leave program development.
  • Create and lead the Mid-Market ADML practice, including defining strategy, operating model, workflows, and service offerings.
  • Build, deploy, and manage a high-performing team of consultants.
  • Materially grow ADML revenue through participation in new business pursuits and expansion of existing client relationships.
  • Oversee project planning and delivery; review, finalize, and present deliverables to senior client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to WTW marketing and thought leadership through speaking engagements, articles, and industry participation.
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership through direct management, coaching, and mentoring of consultants.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience in the design and management of large group ADML programs within a consulting or brokerage environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and grow client relationships.
  • Proven success leading complex projects and managing client engagements.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Interest in staying current on health and welfare, absence, and disability trends and contributing to new solution development.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel 35–50%, primarily day travel.

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.

Compensation 

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $175,000-$250,000 USD per year. 

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus
