The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial & Analytics Lead to join our Health & Benefits team. This role will be pivotal in driving data-driven insights, actuarial modeling, and strategic analytics to support client decision-making and optimize benefits programs. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to work with the account team, ensuring excellence in delivery and innovation.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead actuarial and analytic projects across health and benefits portfolios, including medical, life, and non-insured benefits 

  • Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models to forecast costs, utilization, and risk exposure.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients on plan design, pricing, and risk management.

  • Oversee data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support evidence-based decision-making.

  • Drive innovation by leveraging advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

  • Professional actuarial designation (e.g., ASA, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in health and benefits actuarial work.
  • Benefits Consulting experiences preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g. Python, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering client-focused solutions.
