Description
This role will work alongside Account Managers in our Health & Benefits team and will be part of the team that provides contact for member services for group life and health insurance clients. Key areas of accountability will include all aspects of member services for clients and their employees, assistance with claims and underwriting management, client database management, and liaison with insurers.
The Role
• Working with the account managers, help manage claims progress, including answering client
enquiries and arranging the completion of claim forms and filing claims with insurers
• Monitor & confirm that clients are in receipt of claims settlements, either direct from insurer or
through WTW
• Help manage the underwriting process for top-ups and voluntary covers through liaison with
clients and insurers, including providing quotes for voluntary applications
• Assisting with annual renewal request, updates, completion letters and submitting to insurers
• Follow up insurers in relation to renewals, applications & checking renewal data
• Managing the overall health care plan requirements within the team and liaising with the medical
providers
• Managing the medical onboarding, leaving and other queries where required
• Managing member enquiries via email and phone
• Invoice and manage insurer commissions
• Keep internal client databases up to date
Qualifications
The Requirements
• Strong Administrative skills with excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with claims in group life and/or health insurance and/or underwriting
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage expectations and requirements of multiple stakeholders
• eGlobaL experience is an advantage
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in Life insurance or health insurance would be advantageous
