Description

As a Director in our Work & Rewards practice, you will play a key leadership role in growing and delivering strategic human capital and workforce transformation solutions for clients. You will advise senior executives on translating business strategy into effective organization, workforce, and talent strategies.

The role will focus primarily on organization design and transformation, strategic workforce planning, talent management strategy, career and competency frameworks, succession management, performance management, and change management. You will also integrate job architecture and rewards considerations where required to ensure practical and sustainable client solutions.

This position combines business development, senior client advisory, project leadership, thought leadership, and people-management responsibilities.

The Role

  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow WTW’s Organization and Workforce Transformation business in Indonesia.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, HR leaders, and other senior client stakeholders.
  • Advise clients on aligning their organization, workforce, and talent strategies with changing business priorities.
  • Lead complex consulting engagements covering:
    • Organization strategy, operating model, and organization design
    • Organization and workforce transformation
    • Strategic workforce planning and workforce optimization
    • Talent management and succession strategy
    • Career architecture, career pathways, and competency frameworks
    • Job architecture, job evaluation, and grading
    • Performance management and employee experience
    • Leadership and capability development
    • Change management, culture, and transformation implementation
  • Diagnose organizational and workforce challenges and translate findings into practical, implementable solutions and road maps.
  • Connect organization, talent, workforce, and rewards solutions to deliver an integrated employee and business value proposition.
  • Lead proposal development, client presentations, and commercial negotiations to secure new business.
  • Oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring strong project governance, high-quality deliverables, commercial performance, and timely execution.
  • Serve as a senior client adviser and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations on critical organization and people matters.
  • Develop intellectual capital, methodologies, and market insights relevant to Indonesia and the broader region.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing consulting team while strengthening succession and professional capability.
  • Collaborate with regional and global experts and other WTW businesses to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Work closely with the Country Leader and relevant business leaders to deliver annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Minimum 15–20 years of relevant experience in human capital consulting, organization transformation, talent management, strategic workforce planning, or a senior corporate HR transformation role.
  • Strong track record in leading organization design, workforce transformation, talent strategy, career architecture, or related large-scale consulting engagements.
  • Proven ability to advise C-suite executives and senior HR leaders on complex organization and workforce issues.
  • Strong business-development capabilities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, client presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, timelines, and senior stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of job architecture, performance management, and rewards principles, with the ability to integrate these into broader workforce solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, executive presence, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and develop consulting teams and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in business, human resources, organization development, psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
