Description

Actuarial Valuation and Analysis

  • Perform actuarial valuations of retirement benefit plans, including
  • Calculate actuarial liabilities, normal costs, and funding requirements.
  • Analyze demographic and financial assumptions such as: 
  • Conduct gain/loss analysis and experience studies.

Financial Reporting Support

  • Prepare actuarial calculations for accounting purposes under: 
    • IAS 19 / PSAK 219
    • ASC 715 (US GAAP)
    • FRS 102 and other local accounting standards
  • Assist in preparing actuarial reports and disclosures for financial statements.
  • Reconcile valuation results and explain year-over-year movements.

Data Management and Modeling

  • Review and validate employee census data.
  • Clean, organize, and analyze large datasets.
  • Build and maintain actuarial spreadsheets and valuation models.
  • Support automation initiatives using Excel, VBA, Power BI, Python, SQL, or AI tools.

Consulting and Client Support

  • Support consultants in delivering retirement and pension consulting projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding valuation results and benefit plan provisions.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in: 
    • Actuarial Science
    • Mathematics
    • Statistics

Professional Requirements

  • Progress toward actuarial qualification (Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia) 

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of actuarial concepts and pension funding principles.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn.
