Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) is one of the world’s largest insurance brokers and risk advisory firms, offering a comprehensive collection of services to a diverse client base - from small businesses to multinational corporations. Our expert services and support encompass risk assessment, risk management and advisory, risk transfer and placement, and claim advocacy. We pride ourselves on our scale, reach, and entrepreneurial approach. By collaborating with colleagues across all WTW segments, we deliver a holistic people and risk proposition to many of our clients.
In CRB, we guide clients in understanding, assessing, and managing their risks through a wide range of advisory and insurance broking services. Our teams work closely with our global business units to bring deep local and regional expertise to clients worldwide. Complex risks require smarter solutions, which is why at WTW, our specialised approach, exceptional client service and broader perspective deliver smarter risk management.
The Role
The CRB Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is a two-year programme that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands on experience, insight and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career. The program provides the opportunity for graduates to work hands on with senior leadership alongside client facing exposures from accounts ranging in the Fortune 500 sector to smaller market local business areas.

The role of a data analyst will assist to bring our risk and analytics capabilities into the business in a sustainable way. You would be responsible for assisting with the Global Line of Business’ data strategy as well as understanding and analysing the current approach to data and analytics. Through this and other work you will gain a unique understanding of our industry and our clients needs. The role offers a hybrid opportunity working directly within a line of business whilst reporting to our risk and analytics division.
Data Analysts will be involved in how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. You will typically be involved with managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data. You will understand data structures, database systems and procedures and the range of analytical tools used to undertake a range of different types of analyses.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a demanding data analytics role underpinned with knowledge of insurance.
This role is supported through the graduate programme being part of a wider cohort of new hires. It will entail exposure to development and support from the start of your journey into full time employment and beyond. The role will also be supported via an apprenticeship to equip you with the key skills and knowledge to be successful in the role. This will either be through a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship or a qualification recognised within the insurance industry depending on degree studies.

Our Community

In order to get the most out of working at WTW and to help with your own development, you will be expected to come into the office a minimum of 3 days each week. In addition to scheduled in-office training and meetings about projects and client work, this will give you the opportunity to learn from your more experienced colleagues, as well as getting to know your fellow new GB joiners.
