As a Health and Benefits Senior Associate, you will be a key member of the client service team, engaging directly with clients and establishing relationships across all levels of the client organization. You will substantially contribute to the management of projects, leveraging your experience as a benefits expert to make recommendations on plan design and management for the full array of health and benefits programs. You will have the opportunity to position yourself to grow into a senior relationship management and/or leadership role by serving as a pivotal point of contact on projects and working alongside industry experts on cutting edge solutions
The Role
Account Management
• Effective planning/coordination/communication/delegation/motivation within team to work as a coordinated Group
• Maximizing account profitability for each client by:
Achieving optimum remuneration consistent with competitive premium level as compared with services provided
o Managing credit control
o Monitoring work load
• Developing the "total service programmed" for each client by promoting the full range of Willis services where a need exists
• Enhancing/building client relationships and getting to know clients including decision makers
• Materially contributing to and/or leading project management; monitoring progress against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards; and serving as day to day contact for clients
• Build and maintain effective long-term client relationships and a high level of client satisfaction by cooperating with other departments to ensure key claim settlement or client complaint handling
New business development
• Be responsible for developing new client portfolio, market observations and product development
• Develop risk solutions consulting for clients, focus on H&B products and services, including but not limited to Brokerage, Global Wellness and HR Advisory
• Be responsible for design of go-to market strategy, carrier negotiations and agreements, including maintenance of carrier and market relationships
• Ensure sales process in compliance with the Company requirements
• Supporting the generation of new business by participating in prospecting opportunities as part of broader team
• Building relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams
RFP Management
• Manage the preparation of bids and tenders for new business
• Identify and manage appropriate resources and team support to develop, package and price custom solutions
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects and clients including research, initiation of contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, new business presentations, and accurately maintaining systems (dynamic CRM) in order to create and convert sales opportunities
• Coordinate legal / senior management sign-off on bids and proposals, placement of supplier orders, and acceptance of customer orders.
• Analyze development opportunities and suggest annual marketing prospection plan within framework of the assigned area
• Other tasks assigned by the Company
The Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Health & Benefits consulting or brokerage role, or from a C&B function in industry
• University degree
• Insurance industry knowledge preferable
• Deep knowledge of the Thailand vendor marketplace
• Technical proficiency in Thailand employee benefits
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively with a strong focus on customer service
• Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
• Broad understanding of compliance issues related to local legislation
• Sales/Marketing experience: Industry exposure being highly desirable
• Desire and ability to expand relationships with current clients
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in English language
