    Summary of the Position: 

    The Risk Management Analyst will work alongside the Risk Management team as they plan and implement corporate control, risk funding and insurance programs to minimize losses.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Insurance Procurement

    • Assist with operational renewal and development marketing processes, allocations, and post binding documentation.
    • Shadow Directors in meetings.
    • Assist in the creation, distribution and communication of departments insurance budgets

    Policy Management & Billing

    • Ensure all insurance documentation is accurate 
    • Manage the policy retention process for the department 
    • Facilitate the policy tracking system with external parties. 
    • Ensure the prompt payment of all insurance related premiums and fees. 
    • Maintain the department’s Premium History documents and exhibits.

    Reporting & Communications

    • Assist department in external communications and quantification of insurance risk associated with business transactions.
    • Support department goals and objectives on various projects.
    • Attend seminars and external training sessions.

    Claims & Loss Control

    Assist in the coordination of the departments claims process internally and externally

    Qualifications

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Risk Management degree preferably with Bachelors/experience in Insurance related field.
    • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel. 
    • Quick and flexible learner with initiative to identify needed improvements and execute projects with minimal oversight.
    • Strong work ethic and detail oriented.

    Compensation and Benefits 

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    The base salary range being offered for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 USD per year.
