BSTS - Procurement Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one or more sub-category areas, manage contracts and suppliers associated to the area(s).
• Support the delivery of the Technology Category plan addressing short, mid and long-term business goals and objectives
• Directly supporting assigned global business stakeholders with effective end to end procurement 
• Identify and support new opportunities to address category spend
• Keen attention to detail especially in reviewing statement of works from a Procurement point of view
• Manage key sourcing processes and negotiate best commercial and contractual terms

Requirements

• 5+ years of Technology Category procurement experience
• Good knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices via Ariba
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Both a strategic and analytical mind-set
• Creativity to seek and implement new approaches to procurement challenges
• Ability to articulate procurement’s value to the wider business
• High level commercial and contractual negotiation skills
• A good working knowledge of Ariba procurement systems and P2P processes
