    Description

    The Role 

    You will be joining Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) at an exciting time of transformation as we work on improving the delivery of value for customers and the business. You’ll be working in the Platform Core team within Technology Delivery organization, whose responsibility is to deliver and manage business critical services that are used 24×7 by our clients and colleagues around the world.

    As part of a small, focused team you will be learning to better secure and maintain our complex Azure environments, deliver new solutions, provide support and collaborate with global support and engineering colleagues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the delivery of Azure cloud-based resources, solutions and services for systems within ICT deployed globally
    • Promote continuous improvement of cloud technologies including automation, IaC, security standards and policy implementations
    • Day to day handling of requests, covering system administration, operations governance, threat/vulnerability management and incident response
    • Be an active key contributor in our Cloud Governance function, working together to further secure and regularize our environments
    • Engage with ICT’s other subject matter experts as well as Corporate InfoSec and Cloud Enablement teams to understand priorities and the risk landscape of the business, helping to align Cloud objectives to the businesses polices and standards

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Exposure to the Azure Cloud Platform, Cloud technologies (Iaas/PaaS/Access Management)
    • Basic understanding of DevOps concept in cloud environment
    • Ability and willingness to learn Cloud technologies
    • Good documentation and communication skills
    • Ability to work within a team and support team members
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills in-order to identify and respond to unexpected or disruptive events

    Beneficial

    • Experience or knowledge in scripting (Python, C#, Powershell, SQL,Jitterbit)
    • Understanding of a security operations function within a complex environment
    • Any knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks
    • System Administration experience (Linux/Windows)
    • Experience in assessing, planning and implementing IT projects
