    Description

    The Application Configuration Analyst serves as an integral member of a global team to configure and deliver Willis Towers Watson’s technology products and tools to our external or internal clients. This role works with WTW proprietary and/or industry-leading applications and ensures that these are set up according to agreed-upon technical specifications and quality standards. 


    The Configuration Analyst will be responsible for creating Compensation surveys, validation rules, pre and post validation rules, client portal and reports. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects and ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients.

    The Role

    • Review the Survey Input requirements (Jobs, Elements and translations) then set up Compensation Surveys. These are Excel-based Surveys configured in a WTW Application.
    • Write and test Validation Queries or VQs. These are SQL type of expressions used to check if data submitted by clients are valid and error free.
    • Setup Client Portal – Upload survey Materials and make sure other components are set up correctly.
    • Conduct basic application testing to ensure usability and adherence to technical specifications, desired functionality and defined aesthetic properties; consistently log and report errors promptly
    • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
    • Build new or update existing Quality Assurance Tools.
    • Communicate with Stakeholders and Teammates. Provide timely updates and raise risks.
    • Provide support in the continuous improvement of processes and tools.
    • Conduct work in adherence to ISO 9001 and 27001 guidelines

    Qualifications

    The Requirements:

    • Currently completing Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science 
    • Intermediate experience in problem-solving, and analytical skills with the highest attention to detail. 
    • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be willing to work on any shift 
    • Ability to: 
      • Communicate effectively with colleagues on a global level
      • Be proactive in dealing with clients and issues
      • Follow-through on details
      • Complete multiple projects at one time, with very tight deadlines
      • Demonstrate client service focus and flexibility in supporting client requests
      • Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement
      • Demonstrate a desire to learn and accept new challenges
