    Description

    The Business

    The Finance function serves both internal and external customers: Colleagues within our company, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, vendors and regulatory agencies around the world.

     

    The Role

    Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

    • Prepare financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
    • Perform the accounts payable department 
    • Monitor accounts receivable following up on invoices when necessary
    • Prepare the month end closing journals for General ledger 
    • Ensure that the company adheres to applicable local regulations and global guidelines that impact finances 
    • Support our tax professionals in preparing quarterly estimates and annual returns
    • Inspect and update all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances
    • Support treasury tasks, local tax filings, internal / external audit and other finance ad-hoc tasks
    • Help establish company best practices related to accounting
    • Suggest thoughtful, scalable approaches to reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving margins

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    Essential

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration 
    • AICPA holder or equivalent, with 3 – 6 years working experience in finance team 
    • Proficiency with standard systems 
    • Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices
    • Significant experience with office productivity applications, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and approaches
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time, whether working independently or as part of a team
    • Hands on experience with Oracle System will have added advantage
    • Excellent computer skills using Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Excel 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information
    • Must be analytical & good at figures and able to exercise due diligence
    • Native level Korean

    Desirable

    • Experience of financial planning and forecast process
    • Two of more years of experience in an accounting role 
    • Professional level of written and spoken English
