Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Lead Associate | Global Markets P&C - North American Property Broker at WTW in London!
Every client is unique in large part to changing legal or regulatory environments and fluctuations in the marketplace. You would need to be aware of client’s developing demands and needs.
We are an integral part of the end-to-end client servicing function, beginning with the discussions with our clients to establish their reinsurance requirements alongside our brokers, through to the completion of the reinsurance product. This can take the form of face-to-face meetings or conference calls with the client, as well as the reinsurance market, to tailor a structured reinsurance programme to meet our clients’ needs. We work closely with the London market brokers during the process to assist them with the co-ordination of the placement, keeping the client up to date on progress.
We are an agile working team and utilise the skills and proximity of the London market as required, to fulfil the clients’ requirements.
The role encompasses regular client and underwriter contact, either in person (whether in our office or at their location), or via all other available communication methods.
This opportunity can provide a wide, long and interesting career with opportunities for personal growth.
The Role
The successful candidate would work with various team members from all levels to assist in the day to day activities required to place our risks into the London and European marketplace.
The day to day role will involve a variety of activities from analysis of individual or portfolios of risks, working with our US colleagues and London placement specialists to further understand the risk and strategize on placement options and ultimately be part of the placement team.
Analysis of risk will include catastrophe modelling, programme coverages, geographical and occupancy exposures, engineering reports, client retention impacts and historical data.
Once there is a true understanding of the client then the successful candidate would approach the markets with the placement team with a clear global strategy.
