    Description

    As you grow and gain more expertise, you will become a key contact for the client and will begin managing more complex projects. Depending on your preferences and strength you would then be able to work with your development manager to develop yourself further and choose from a variety of different career paths.

    • Develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of retirement.
    • Actively support sales or generate leads for non-traditional actuarial solutions, i.e. pension administration, pension brokerage, etc. 
    • Maintain clients relationship on a day-to-day basis by generating broader HR dialogues and identify qualified needs.
    • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.
    • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels. 
    • Deliver projects to meet or exceed client expectations and internal PE requirements.
    • Influence and encourage internal teams and leaders to think more broadly about our offering to clients.
    • Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by supplying information for proposals.
    • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in actuarial science or any other related university training
    • Proven experience successfully delivering multiple projects with quality on time and within budget
    • Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
    • Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscape
    • Proven ability to deliver new engagements and new revenue under limited guidance
    • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
    • FSA, ASA or IFoA credentials (or local country equivalent) a major advantage
