    Description

    We are hiring for a Lifesight Pensions Project Portfolio Support  for our DC Master Trust - Lifesight. LifeSight, WTW’s DC master trust, represents one of our biggest business growth opportunities in the UK. We expect LifeSight to become one of the largest UK pension plans in terms of assets under management. We have secured in excess of £20bn of assets under management and over 400,000 members with a pipeline which will enable us to grow this exponentially over the coming years.

    Reporting into the Projects Administration Manager, you will be actively responsible for supporting project delivery across the LifeSight Administration portfolio, covering all regular scheduled projects, client change projects, process improvements and regulatory change with work delivered by teams on and offshore.

    The Role

    • Provide support for the delivery of project work for LifeSight including, but not limited to:
      • Scheme events.
      • Admin process improvements.
      • Regulatory change projects.
      • Client change projects.
      • New client installations.
    • Support Project Owners/Managers with project governance requirements and reporting.
    • Responsible for drafting/reviewing/maintaining project documentation such as project plans, RAID documents, status reports for all in transit projects.
    • Provide updates to the Project Leads through weekly online or face-to-face meetings. 
    • Provide support in project meetings where appropriate, including minutes and action tracking.
    • Monitor and understand project milestones, ensuring projects remain on track and following necessary escalation processes to avoid scope creep and additional costs.
    • Support LifeSight projects ensuring they are identified and managed through to completion, on time, and with accuracy to ensure client satisfaction and retention. 
    • Consolidate and distribute action plans from post project review (PPR) meetings, ensuring timely updates and implementation. 
    • Working closely with other stakeholders in the business, creating a joined up and collaborative culture.
    • Working with the LifeSight Projects Team Leaders/Administration Managers to produce a Roadmap of scheme events projects and other change projects.
    • Monitoring all billable work and ensuring fulfillment in line with the LifeSight charging structure
    • Continuously seeking areas for improvement from completed or in transit projects.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills. 
    • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
    • Existing experience of providing project management or support
    • Prince2 or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
    • Experience of reporting against KPIs and metrics
    • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative/drive.
    • Confident in speaking with others and obtaining updates from project owners where necessary.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects or deliverables, including the ability to identify and support the removal of escalated blockers.
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently manage senior stakeholders, challenging and influencing while maintaining good relationships.  
    • The aptitude to learn, value add and benefit realization understanding, with the LifeSight vision in mind. 
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to cross-check and ensure accuracy of detailed documents.
    • Ability to thrive and drive delivery in a busy, demanding and changing environment.
