Description

As a senior technical specialist within our Broking Team, you are the Willis Towers Watson Belgium authority in your domain. You act as the first point of contact for any pertinent question related to liability risks (CGL), PI, EIL,  etc.

 

Your key responsibilities involve:

 

  • Work on renewal, retention and growth of existing and prospective accounts;

  • Complex studies and placements in both local and international markets;

  • Providing internal coaching and training;

  • Contributing to positioning Willis Towers Watson Belgium as the analytical broker;

  • Assuming an important sales support role;

  • Assisting in claims processes that require your specific expertise.

Requirements
 

We are looking for an individual with a high level of technicality, knowledge of the market, coverage, wordings, underwriters, scope & appetite. You have a network of stakeholders in your branch. You are pragmatic, action-oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are analytical and organised, as well as creative/tactical, able to execute strategic plans and comfortable working independently as well as part of a professional Belgian and worldwide team+.

 

The successful applicant will have/be:

 

  • A Master Degree (Law, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent by experience;

  • Preferably at least 10 years’ experience in a client facing and/or broking role within the insurance industry;

  • Experience in dealing with both domestic and international liability programs and associated risks;

  • A client-driven and solution-minded team player with strong communication skills;

  • Passionate about continuously improving our customer value proposition;

  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French (both written and spoken).

The Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) division focuses on development and services in the areas of professional insurance, reinsurance, risk management, and consultancy for companies, institutions, and (semi-)public authorities. In Belgium, approximately 85 employees work within the CRB division, spread across offices in Zaventem, Liège, and Hasselt.
