The Procurement Manager will have a strong understanding India Market and the Stakeholders within WTW. Managing new Procurement requests for WTW GDS and for India level consolidation wherever possible, someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, motivate the team and handle external third-party relationships. Experience in working with Global Stakeholders will be an added advantage, Experience of Ariba system will be desired although training can be provided. The role will require strong people management, be able to manage their time and projects in a well-disciplined way to structure their workloads, have a vision for the team and can understand the needs of the stakeholder quickly. There will be decision making in the process and wherever needed, challenge the approach to drive the best outcome for WTW.
The successful candidate will also have a positive approach to problem solving and a strong collaborative approach with other team members and stakeholders.
Demonstration of good communication skills, stakeholder management & workload / project management skills with an understanding of Procurement Category Management processes would also be preferred.
It would also be an advantage to demonstrate the ability to pro-actively identify consolidation opportunities outside of the immediate contracts renewals to see if there are opportunities to leverage existing agreement.
The scope of the role will require partnership with various BU Heads and their team, Category leads and CFO to support the creation and maintenance of up-to-date sourcing plans, Payments and Receipts and provide key monthly Management Information on sourcing reporting on contract renewal metrics, risk and other metrices as required.
Be responsible for People Management, year-end performance, meet the objective of the WTW Global Procurement and the WTW GDS objective.
