    The Opportunity

    As a Senior Auditor, you will report to the Professional Practices and Corporate Functions Internal Audit (IA) Director and will be responsible for supporting the Professional Practices team on the audit methodology, committee reporting, internal quality assessments, and continuous review of audit practices to align with the new Global IIA Standards, the recent CIIA Code in the UK, and recent External Quality Assessment recommendations. 


    ✔️ Provide expertise in the application of audit methodologies, tools, and techniques across various functions, ensuring the audit process complies with professional standards and maintains consistency and quality in both execution and documentation.
    ✔️Collaborate with the Professional Practices team and relevant IA directors on the continuous improvement of the IA methodology, ensuring alignment with the standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations. 
    ✔️Assist in the efficient preparation of IA deliverables to key governance committees and senior leadership meetings, ensuring reports are timely, accurate, clear, focused on key issues, and impactful.
    ✔️Support the IA leadership in preparing various reports for key stakeholders on engagement progress and management action plans, providing relevant and insightful analysis to facilitate informed decision making in relation to internal controls and risk management.
    ✔️Support the completion of internal quality assessment reviews ensuring adherence to internal quality control standards, methodologies, and guidelines. Support the continuous enhancement of the overall audit quality and audit processes. 
    ✔️Trusted partner with the IA leadership and teams, challenging respectfully and constructively, and influencing the audit team in the delivery of quality audit work.
    ✔️Partner with HR and other relevant functions to improve training programme for the department based on talent needs. Support the skills and competency assessment across IA, the review of training priorities and the development of training materials in collaboration with HR, to upskill IA colleagues and support high quality audit delivery.
    ✔️Support ongoing aligned assurance efforts with Risk and Compliance, to improve the maturity of WTW’s Risk Management understanding and practices.
     

    Qualifications

    Your Profile:

    -Knowledgeable of audit methodologies, IIA standards, new technology and audit techniques, and regulatory disclosures for UK and Irish regulated entities. 
    - Strong understanding of business risks and control environments.
    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    - Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
    - Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
    - A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering results.
    - High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    - Proficiency in Spanish or French language is a plus
