The Role
Our Health & Benefits business helps local and international corporate and mid-market clients manage their health, wellbeing and other benefits risks and costs. As the Health & Benefits Business Development (Sales) Leader, your primary accountability is penetrating the local market and bring new clients to the company. You will focus on generating leads and closing business by developing and managing an active pipeline of prospects, conducting a needs analysis/risk assessment and, together with colleagues, present and share information on our capabilities.
In this role, we expect you to:
• Be primary accountable for creating and executing a business strategy to penetrate the local market in obtaining new clients
• Meet or exceed revenue targets
• Raise awareness of WTW’s capabilities in the marketplace
• Serve as strategist for clients, ensuring that Health & Benefits design meets client needs and fits within overall client strategy
• Track, analyse and present sales metrics
• Work within relevant compliance and excellence guidelines at all times
• Work closely with Placement in order to negotiate the best offers from the market
• Contribute to client management, retention and expansion once brought on board
• Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches in the client space
• Build relationships with colleagues within and outside H&B to effectively collaborate on sales opportunities
• Utilise all sales tools and resources to successfully move prospects through the sales cycle
The Requirements
• Experience in the Health & Benefits market and insurance broking (> 10 years)
• Proven track record of obtaining completely new Health and Benefits clients in the large and mid-market client space, typically gained in a brokerage and/or (health) consulting environment (> 5 years)
• Deep understanding of local mid-sized and/or large employer market segment and their unique demands and purchasing style
• Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
• An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills in both Turkish and English
• Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to generate leads and follow up to build a strong pipeline
• Demonstrable sales process experience
• Ability to work under high pressure
• Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members in other practices at all levels to effectively close business
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point)
