    Description

    The Role

    As a schedule drafter in the GB Retail Facility team: 

    • You will be responsible for drafting complex GB Retail facility property/business interruption and liability schedules for large UK and multinational clients. 
    • You will be the main focal point for the client service teams on your draft schedule queries and associated coverage issues and will be required to work with them to help find a resolution to finalise the schedule. 
    • You will be required to review Insurer drafted/expiring endorsements to ensure compatibility with the facility wordings.  
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with the facility processes.
    • Ongoing engagement with internal stakeholders. 
    • Look for opportunities to drive efficiencies in the facility.
    • Provide support on other GB Retail facility policy documents on an ad hoc basis.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Knowledge of property/business interruption and liability policies and can explain in basic detail what standard sections of these policies cover.
    • Able to follow detailed drafting instructions to create an accurate policy schedule.
    • Can identify and accurately transpose the relevant information from the broking presentation/expiring policy documents into the latest version of the relevant facility schedule.
    • Ability to prioritise and manage workload and work to deadlines.
    • Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Works well in a team environment but also under own initiative. 
    • Five years working in an insurance business environment.
    • Cert C.I.I. qualified or interested in progressing with CII qualifications.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office products in particular Word.
