    Description

    As the Sourcing & Supplier Manager for Microsoft, your primary responsibility is to lead sourcing engagements, facilitate the governance of the relationship across the Group, monitor / oversee the goods, services & activities provided and any risks that arise.

    Your role involves ensuring compliance with our outsourcing and third-party policies, as well as the broader WTW policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with the rest of the Global Procurement Team in order to manage the demands and needs of your internal stakeholders. IT Procurement Knowledge & experience is essential, as well as previous experience of working in supplier management roles. An understanding in the latest market trends and insights is desirable, as well as evidence of an understanding of the evolving IT 3rd party landscape. (i.e. AI, Automation, Cloud etc).

    The Role

    · To establish, manage and support the development, implementation and embedding of third-party vendor management policies and framework within the business

    · To manage key relationships with Microsoft that are of particular importance to the implementation of the business strategy

    · Oversee and maintain a central register of Microsoft vendor arrangements

    · Support any onboarding processes of Microsoft products and services, ensuring due diligence and necessary approvals are undertaken

    · Conduct initial suitability assessments in consultation with relevant stakeholders

    · Review and collate supplier/materiality questionnaires

    · Design and implement monitoring and reporting processes for various groups and internal Committees

    · Prepare due diligence reports with recommendations for internal Committees

    · Complete required reporting on supplier performance and third-party risks.

    · Collaborate with Business Process Owners to produce improvement/ efficiency plans.

    · Monitor third-party relationships, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation efforts with SMEs.

    · Support the Legal function in managing new and renewal contracts

    · Liaise with the Risk function to escalate and manage supplier risk-related issues.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    · Strong IT Vendor Management experience – ideally with Microsoft

    · Knowledge and understanding of regulatory outsourcing and third party risk management requirements 

    · Experience in outsourcing and third part risk management practices 

    · Proven commercial experience gained from supplier/vendor management 

    · Strong negotiation skills 

    · Strong stakeholder collaborative relationship building skills 

    · Both a strategic and analytical mind-set 

    · Creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to challenges 

    · Excellent communication skills and strong listening skills 

    · In-depth knowledge of IT sourcing and procurement principles and best practices 

    · Strong IT contract review and negotiation experience 

    · Experience of business process workflows 

    · Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
