    Role Overview

     

    Client Services Specialists – Surety - SPG is an underwriting unit within the national surety practice of WTW and we operate as a Managing General Underwriting (MGU) group for partner surety markets.  SPG is an integral member of our account management team who proactively obtain, compile and follow up on information critical to providing exceptional consulting, placement and advocacy for Willis Tower Watson clients and prospects.     The Role

    In this role you will provide underwriting support to the MGU team and have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the MGU’s administrative operations. Duties include but are not limited to:

     

    • Track all activity and transactions related to the MGA 
    • Manage and monitor the MGA’s proprietary bond management and underwriting approval software system
    • Prepare written correspondence, reports and analysis as needed for management and our partner surety markets
    • Assist with resolution of client/carrier accounting issues
    • Communicate with various parties to ensure receivables are collected and distributed to markets
    • Utilize third party software to obtain credit reports on existing and perspective risks
    • Communicate effectively with clients, client managers and other team members
    • Participate in internal and external meetings

    Qualifications

    The Responsibility:

    • Strong analytical and organization skills with an attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
    • Ability to work with customers and colleagues from a range of backgrounds
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple task at any given time
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • 0-2+ years insurance industry experience related to servicing accounts is a plus
    • Experience working with Surety, including in an insurance brokerage environment a plus
    • Experience working with Epic and Sure Path a plus

    Compensation and Benefits
    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation
    This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
