    Description

    The Role at WTW (in bullet points)

    • Broker as part of cohesive team of highly effective and proven brokers
    • Understand client needs and implement successful policy placement strategies
    • Ensure that the coverage and terms we negotiate, and service levels we offer, routinely meet or exceed the client’s expectations.
    • Plan and implement programme designs and placement strategies in conjunction with team. 
    • Understand the client’s coverage needs and be capable of translating these from the various data provided into wordings/loss formulae.
    • Be involved in claims as necessary in order to meet or exceed the client’s settlement expectations.
    • Liaise with other WTW teams as necessary, Aviation, Cargo, WUKI, Accounting and Settlement etc.
    • Ensure compliance at all times with internal and external requirements.
    • Ensure documentation is sent to clients and underwriters in a timely and accurate fashion.
    • Have an excellent working knowledge of all internal systems, procedures and controls.
    • Complete fair market appraisal on broking platform when involved in broking on a placement.
    • Be available for client visits as and when required.

     

    Qualifications

    • Have an in-depth understanding of the client’s business be and capable of delivering innovative solutions to their total risk management needs 
    • Knowledge of the space sector, clients, space insurance, the market and space technology
    • Good communication skills, with clients, insurers and colleague
    • Knowledgeable about data analytics and applicable software 
    • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of inter-party relationships
    • Team player
