    Purpose of Role

     

    Personal Lines Client Advisors provide strategic relationship management, taking advantage of our specialized industry experience and unparalleled market know how, to craft strategies for clients to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk.  If you’re client centric, interested in affiliating with an industry leader and committed to helping clients unlock their potential through effective risk management this may be the perfect opportunity for you! 

     

    This position is also responsible for developing and managing an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, developing ideas for meeting their needs, presenting information on the organization’s capabilities, strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients’ needs and introducing technical specialists, as required, to get the business. 

     

    Job Duties

     

    Pipeline Management:

    • Identify prospects for business from existing and prospective clients

    • Develop new relationships with individuals responsible for insurance and risk management decisions

    • Obtain referral leads from existing clients

    • Aggressively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities

    • Participate and take leadership roles in targeted community and professional associations.

     

    Sales Process:

    • Prepare proposals and presentations 

    • Design individual prospect sales strategies and develop prospect/COI pipelines

    • Align with individual client sales strategies

     

    Client Management:

    • Maintain consistent / high quality touch points with clients

    • Champion the proper advocacy of claims

    • Participate in stewardship meetings

    • Participate in identifying and closing rounding opportunities

    Qualifications

    Knowledge/Skills

     

    • Proven track record of successful pipeline development, delivery of effective sales strategies and reputation as a client-centric sales professional

    • Comprehensive working knowledge of principles and methods of selling products; services and value propositions; sales marketing strategies and tactics; technical knowledge of insurance and risk management products, services, and value propositions; pipeline management & cross-selling

    • Ability to identify and leverage essential information and think in a critical and logical manner 

    • Ability to work in a client-centric strategic and decisive manner according to tight deadlines

    • Excellent communication (written, verbal & oral) skills and interpersonal skills 

    • Team oriented / collaborative

    • Self-starter

    • Valid State-relevant Insurance license(s)

     

    Leadership/Guidance Information

     

    • Work independently with minimal supervision

     

    Client/Market Relationship Information

     

    • Able to provide proactive risk management advice to existing clients. 

    • Proactively resolve client issues
