    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Actuarial Consultant within our SRC practice. As a Senior Actuarial Consultant, you will be at the forefront of innovation and technology, involved in a wide range of complex and impactful projects. You will lead the delivery of data-driven, insightful analyses to some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated organizations. Your modeling skills will be instrumental in helping clients quantify their risks and develop risk transfer strategies that optimize mitigation, transfer, and retention levers, aligning risk decisions with financial strategy to enhance organizational resilience and maximize performance.

    The Role

    • Client relationship: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients (internal and external), understanding their needs and providing strategic risk consulting services.
    • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
    • Risk Modelling: Conduct thorough data analysis, identify and quantify risks and develop and test mitigation and risk transfer strategies using WTW’s advanced analytical tools and methodologies.
    • Consulting Skills: Apply consulting skills with internal and external clients, including effective delegation and impactful presentations for clients focusing on relevant findings and recommendations.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including analysts and consultants, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve consulting methodologies and tools.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related disciplines.
    • Certifications and experience: ACAS or near-ACAS and minimum of 5 years of experience in risk consulting, actuarial services, or a related field.
    • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Demonstrated technical expertise in risk management.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different audiences.
    • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members. Takes initiative and shows readiness to manage others
    • Client Focus: Strong client-facing skills with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.

    Compensation

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $130,000-$175,000 USD per year.

    This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
