    Description

Are you ready for a role where you can leverage your expertise in building and fire safety to advise international clients on their risk profiles? At WTW, we help businesses mitigate risks by offering long-term property solutions through holistic risk assessments and consulting.

    The role

As our new Risk Engineer, you will serve as both advocate and advisor in risk improvement and property risk management. You will conduct risk control and protection surveys on buildings, fire safety, business interruption, and more across a diverse client base.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct risk engineering surveys and provide risk management advice, collaborating closely with WTW’s Account Directors to assess risk levels and potential losses.
    • Offer clients a structured, comprehensive overview of their risks, with a focus on buildings and operations, to meet insurance requirements.
    • Work alongside local and international colleagues in a dynamic and experienced team of engineers, where open dialogue and engagement are core values.

We’re looking for a proactive advisor who delivers true value to our clients. You will join a team of engineers where daily collaboration fosters an engaging and open atmosphere. Your role involves assessing both national and international clients and preparing objective risk reports, recommending improvements that optimize insurance coverage and minimize business interruption, especially related to property and assets.

In addition to core responsibilities, you’ll collaborate with WTW Risk & Analytics, including Security Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity, Actuarial Services, and Strategic Risk Consulting, gaining access to a network of expertise in Norway and worldwide.

    Qualifications

    About You

    • Background in construction, fire prevention, or risk management with experience in risk assessments.
    • Ideally, experience from the insurance industry, consulting, or as a Loss Adjuster.
    • Self-driven, customer-oriented, and team-focused.
    • Skilled in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and verbal.
