    Description

    Responsible for a portfolio of construction clients and prospects with accountability for retention of clients and new business development. Will manage and develop client and WTW relationships and grow a portfolio within the business unit and will be responsible for targeting and converting prospects.

    The Role

    • Retain existing book of business, develop, and strengthen client relationships.
    • Identify, engage, and integrate delivery of all WTW internal resources to deliver on the client experience
    • Provide strategic planning and consulting advice to clients; monitors insurance and risk management needs in collaboration with WTW resource, practice, and industry groups. Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term
    • Build and develop market relationships in collaboration with broking and sales
    • In collaboration with producers, actively expand existing client relationships and participate in new business prospecting
    • Engage with sales and broking to understand marketplace changes
    • Help wih the RFP response process, including review, identification, and coordination of line of business groups,
    and document ownership
    • Design and deliver full client presentations/proposals, client advocacy reports, client service plans and schedules
    • Ensure Group policy requirements (legal, regulatory & compliance) are met
    • Perform the Broking Role for their portfolio of Clients dealing with New Business,Renewals,Claims and all midterm alterations and queries
    • Achieve best client service in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that all client deadlines are met
    • Support and find opportunities to enable growth of the existing client accounts
    • Foster beneficial insurer relationships
    • Follow company procedures for Renewals, Mid Terms Adjustments and New business
    • Maintain Company and regulatory standards/requirements including compliance
    • Participate in project work
    • Provide technical support to colleagues and help in resolving their client problems
    • Build relationships and provide support to a number of different teams across the Regions business

    Qualifications

    The Requirements
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience working as Corporate Broker/Client Service Executive or similar role
    • Construction insurance experience together with experience of insurance within contracts, especially PFI/PPP
    type and Lender requirements for insurance
    • Experienced knowledge of insurance and insurance markets globally in order to deal effectively with client needs
    • CIP qualified with progression towards MDI/ACII
    • Willingness to travel to other locations as required
    • Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service
    • Good practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim
    • Experienced knowledge of general insurance markets in order to deal effectively with client and company needs
    • Knowledge of WTW products and services
    • Some experience in new business sales process
    • Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists
    • Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
    • Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery
