    Description

    Full-time position in a dynamic, multinational tax department. This role will focus on cross border transactions and computations, with a focus on US tax implications. WTW has a global footprint, and you will work closely with tax colleagues across the globe on complex transactions. This position can be fully remote or hybrid based on candidate’s preference, with periodic travel opportunities driven by projects.

    The Role:

    • Drive cross-border projects, assisting tax lead with engaging stakeholders across the Company.
    • Assist with transaction and project computations, planning and impact with a focus on US tax technical areas (GILTI, Subpart F, Subchapter C, BEAT, 163(j)). 
    • Coordinate with other tax functions (Compliance, Reporting, International) to incorporate the results of transactions.
    • Analyze and interpret regulatory guidance, newly enacted legislation, summarizing impact for WTW and its operations. Present summary impact to tax leadership
    • Partner with the Company’s advisors to evaluate the efficacy of transactions and proposals.
    • While not responsible for foreign tax considerations, evaluate analysis and consider impact within transactions (including Pillar Two Impact).

    Qualifications

    The Requirements:

    • Minimum of five years’ experience in public accounting, at a law firm or large public company’s tax department
    • Experience with core US international tax topics (FTC, GILTI, BEAT) and underlying computations. 
    • Exposure to cross-border internal restructuring and transactions, including finance and treasury functions.
    • Experience with multi-jurisdictional projects, including consideration, review, and integration of foreign tax considerations within a cohesive plan.
    • Tax research and writing skills, including analyzing regulations and statutory language, secondary materials
    • CPA or LLM preferred

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

     

    Compensation

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $140,000-$175,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
