    We are looking for Transport Risk Consultant who will connect with clients and prospects on their current and future transport risk requirements and deliver exceptional added value. You will apply your expert knowledge and experience to support RFPs and leverage new business opportunities. Provide objective advice and direction on a wide range of risk issues.

    The role is homebased/remote with travel to WTW offices and clients and prospects throughout the United Kingdom (and occasionally overseas) where required. 

    The Role

    • Leverage expertise in transport risk management to facilitate panel and promotional events, providing strategic advice on risk exposures, governance, and mitigation.
    • Ensure assignments align with client expectations and deliver high-quality advisory services in Road and Rail Transportation, including fleet risk reviews, PDBI exposure analysis, and business continuity management.
    • Build and maintain internal and external networks through client risk meetings, industry forums, and collaborations such as PRISM, AD forums, and Willis Research Network.
    • Stay updated on emerging risks, industry trends, and technological innovations to provide cutting-edge solutions.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with Risk, Claims, Sales, and Account Management teams to deliver client-focused outcomes.
    • Contribute to GB Retail revenue objectives by aligning client risk profiles with mitigation and risk tolerance strategies.
    • Deliver impactful results by evaluating and managing transport risk exposures, claims profiles, and governance arrangements, providing constructive external perspectives and challenges.
    • Developing and supporting new business and revenue generation opportunities in line with the GB Retail sales strategy by driving New New (NN) and New From Existing (NFE) opportunities. 

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Extensive experience in transport risk roles across Road, Rail, and Bus industries, with a preference for consultancy experience in professional services or global brokers/insurers.
    • Proven success in leveraging sales opportunities, managing stakeholders, and influencing senior leadership.
    • Expertise in Risk Management disciplines such as Fleet Risk, Business Continuity, Enterprise Risk, Risk Engineering, Health & Safety, or Supply Chain Risk Management.
    • Strong knowledge of risk management practices: identification, assessment, management, and monitoring.
    • Solutions-focused approach with a keen eye on balancing cost and profitability.
    • Strategic and operational thinker; skilled in proposing solutions, presenting in RFPs, and managing client and stakeholder expectations.
    • Exceptional relationship-building skills, fostering productive partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Adept at thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with strong prioritization and delivery capabilities.
    • Experienced in managing multiple deliverables in complex, large-scale organizations.
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional client service and meeting strategic objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in creating high-quality reports..
