    Business 

    The Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) division focuses on the development and delivery of professional insurance, risk management, and consultancy services for businesses, institutions, and (semi-)government organizations. In Belgium, approximately 85 employees work in the CRB division, spread across offices in Zaventem, Liège, and Hasselt. Our company culture is characterized by drive, results-oriented focus, commitment, integrity, and professionalism.     The role 

    The Account Manager is responsible for providing strategic relationship management and consultative services to an important partnership relationship. He/she will cultivate both the growth and maximization of the existing portfolio and set up commercial activities first for the French region, and later to expand towards Brussels.

    For our incoming clients from our WTW network, the account manager will manage for the customers in the Walloon region, the local policies linked to the master policies and to identify opportunities to further develop the local relationship.

    Leverages advanced skill set with P&C knowledge to design and consult with clients on insurance coverage and services; uses understanding of clients’ needs to expand business opportunities and further strengthen client relationships. Ability to focus on delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage and strengthen WTW’s business relationships with key partners and colleagues within the WTW network, ensuring ongoing collaboration;
    • Generate new business by creating commercial activities and prospecting with key partners;
    • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and address their needs;
    • Identify client needs through research and collaboration, presenting relevant products and services to both existing and prospective clients;
    • Focus on increasing the profitability of the key partner relationship, ensuring business retention, and recognizing cross-selling opportunities;
    • Coordinate necessary resources, such as analytics and risk control, to effectively meet client needs.
       

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • At least 4 years of insurance experience in a commercial brokerage environment, with a proven track record in client service, account management, and placement;
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, preferably with experience in international accounts;
    • Solid understanding of International Programs and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues worldwide;
    • Strong focus on delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while working independently;
    • Excellent communication, presentation, customer service, and team-building skills, combined with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting;
    • Ideally a native French speaker with a strong command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a significant advantage.
