The Role
Joining a Marine team of 200 in the UK and 650 globally, this will be a rewarding role where the succesful candidate will be responsible for the WTW Latin American Hull portfolio including additional clients as required. You’ll be guiding existing clients through mid-term adjustments and renewals, including presentations to the appropriate market, whilst also identifying new business opportunities across region.
Ability to integrate WTW’s Risk Analytics and data capabilities within our client / market offer – critical.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong relationship with clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled
• Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people
• Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required
• Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
• Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities
• Cross-sell and up-sell opportunities are fulfilled
• Undertake renewal market presentations/negotiations and make appropriate recommendations to client
• Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market as required
• Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition
The Requirements
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Marine Hull insurance market both UK and Internationally
• Preferably educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
